  • Sometimes you do frugal things for so long you forget how good they are. For years I've been chilling my woolen and cashmere clothes before storing them for the summer. I do this to eliminate moth eggs and larvae. I put the clothing in a plastic bag and then stick it in the freezer for 24 hours. Then I take it out and transfer the clothes to an airtight plastic storage bag. The clothes will stay moth free and be wearable next winter.

It is a teen resale shop that only carries name brand clothes like Hollister, Abercrombie and Aéropostle. They are located in many states. They are a bit more expensive than a regular resale shop or garage sales, but are full of clothes all teens would love to wear. My daughter has bought $80 jeans for $12. Let someone else pay full price! Another great thing is that they buy name brand clothes on the spot, which means cash in your pocket.
