Eating dinner together as a family (even if there are only two of you) is an incredibly important time to reconnect, rejuvenate and bond. We feel so strongly about it that we filled an entire chapter in our new book, Cut Your Grocery Bill in Half with America's Cheapest Family, with information about the benefits of eating together and a list of things we do to make meal time fun.
We included things like:
- Reading great chapter books (we provide a list of our favorites)
- Reading interesting newspaper stories
- Listening to uplifting podcasts
- Playing Mad Libs
and lots of other ideas.
How many times did you eat dinner together as a family last week?
