Vacation Pep Talk

Summer is almost here! Many people are thinking about their vacation. Join the growing number of economizers who are making a commitment to do a “Debt Free” vacation this year. There are so many options to consider from camping to visiting and staying on college campuses that you should have no problem having fun and relaxing without the suffocating effects of credit card bills arriving a month later.

If you’re short on cash, have a garage sale to raise some additional money or be completely radical and enjoy a home vacation. Take the time off and don’t tell the office what you’re doing. Do a house project and mix in some fun activities that you can do inexpensively around town. Many people live in the same state for years and never visit all the wonderful “touristy” sites nearby. You’ll create some great memories and have some wonderful experiences.
