Track Your Gas Mileage with a Mileage Tracker
We keep a copy of this card in each of our cars to help us track mileage. We use this formula every time we fill the tank:
Miles driven since last fill-up ÷ by gallons purchased.
If we drove 325 miles and put in 14 gallons of gas, then 325 ÷ 14= 23.21 mpg. If our gas mileage goes down, we know it’s time to check our tires or maybe it’s time for a tune up. This helps us keep our cars in tip-top shape.
