We had a great time talking with Janet about how we prepare our taxes (we use TurboTax - Federal Free version online) and how we deal with windfalls of cash (or tax refunds).

The conversation transitioned to discuss the benefits of gardening and growing our

Carrie McGinnis, host of On The Air with Carrie, needed our help. Between her and her husband they are in the grocery store every day. We challenged her to cut her grocery shopping to two or three times each week.

As we talked we "heard" the light bulb go on in her head as she said, "I can see how it would not only save me money, but save us huge amounts of time."

We reached out to Glen Lance to talk to the folks in Pulaski, Tennessee about saving money and time. Unfortunately the day we were scheduled to do the interview Glen was sick, so Ed Carter stepped in and pinch hit.

Ed was unfamiliar with our books and our frugal ways, so he just sat there and listened as we shared our story and about eight minutes of money saving tips.
