When is Enough...Enough
This is one of our most powerful seminars — not by our estimation, but by that of people who have heard it. The title is, "When is Enough, Enough? Finding contentment by living like a king." The idea of contentment my seem to contradict the thought of living like a king, but we do tie it together in the presentation.
We talk about coming to grips with limits in life, and a king who discovered that balance in his own life.
We specifically address the question of "When is enough, enough" when dealing with our:
Time — how many and which activities do you say yes to?
Kids — what do they really need to be happy. And how much should we give them?
Possessions — does the person who dies with the most toys really win? Not according to what we have learned.
Work — how much money, how much time and now much family time is necessary to truly be a success? We share from our personal experience — specifically when Steve had it all wrong.
The last time we gave this presentation we stood and answered questions from familes who were grappling with these very issues for over an hour. There were lots of tears, expressions of frustration and determined resolve to change the direction these families were heading.
