Coupon Savings

We don't always use coupons when we grocery shop, but when we do, we accumulate them from multiple sources: Newspaper Free Standing Inserts (glossy coupon ads)— we swap unused coupons with several friends; Grocer loyalty card and ads; and several online sources like the ones displayed below.

Coupons can save you a boodle, but the best ways to save money on groceries are:

1) Going shopping less often (reducing impulse buys)

2) Planning a weekly dinner menu based on the grocery store loss-leaders

3) Writing and sticking to a well planned grocery list

4) Cooking from scratch as much as possible

5) Including left-overs into your weekly menu

6) Cooking meals in larger quantities of a particular meal and freezing half or more for use later in the month.

Give these ideas a try and when combined with coupon savings you'll easily cut your grocery bill in half!

Another great source that lots of frugal coupon-clipping moms are telling us about is All You Magazine. It's well worth the subscription price—6 issues for $10 / 12 issues for $19.95. There are hundreds of dollars worth of excellent coupons in each issue. We’ve picked up a few copies and agree. It’s one magazine that actually pays for itself.
