Democracy versus Republic - are we heading the way of Ancient Rome?

 

Friends, due to the current financial crisis (and the 9/11 terrorist attacks), 

we are heading a direction that we fear will change America . . . forever.

 

This video is a reminder of the dangers of wrong thinking and the power of limited government.

One of the key tenets of the frugal life is to research and know the rules to the game you are playing. 

 

We in America have forgotten the rules . . . the Constitution, which formed our nation. If we are to survive, we need to read what the founders intended and stop listening to politicians' interpretation of the Constitution.

 

If we forget History, we are bound to repeat it. 

 

Are we headed the way of Rome?

Amen and Amen. We must learn to take care of ourselves instead asking the government to take care of us. Greed, laziness and lack of self-government is killing our beloved America. Our forefathers were willing to take the hard road in order to give their children (ultimately us) true liberty, that is freedom with responsibility. Shouldn't we be willing to do the same for our own children and therefore subsequent generations?
